I had a great first week in kiribati!!! I loved it. I don't have much time to email. I will try to say all i want to.

First I got to baptize a lady named rakera anterea! In the ocean... I love it! I got to walk in the cool ocean and it felt so good. I was so suprised. 

My first area is bikenibeu!!! I have 5 other elders in my house. They are all so fun. One of them is from abemama so i try and say all the things i can to him. 

I love the people. We have tons of different stuff here in kiribati. There are naked children running amuck and nobody cares!!! It smells kinda weird but i love it. 

I got a kie.

I taught only investigators. No tracting. Every... single person i visited gave me a drink. So i was full by dinner time just on liquid. They have such a different way of doing dinner.

first they give a spiritualy thought. Then the men eat. then they put the food away. Then they do tons of games after. They played this game called katii(guns) where she calls out a person and they duck and the two neighbors shoot and whoever is first wins. Then the middle people have to dance til it's over. Then they just dance. They ride bikes which is literally you dance like you're riding a bike and then give it to someone. It is so freaking funny. they clap three times before everything. its so fun. 

My comp is elder jackson. He is way cool. He bought me my kie. I got to get mountain dew which brought me back home. I have like 5 minutes so ill try to say everything. I got to go to tons of different places and listen YES LISTEN to tons of people and my comp. I try to get in what i can. I actually suprise a lot of people with how much i know because i've been here for a couple of days. The people are so nice. We served these people at a chinese restaurant and gave them a chinese bom that we had just sitting around. (the church is true) We have so much fun. We took tons of pics. We went to betio which is the nicest place in all of tarawa. They had tons of different ww2 stuff. I got a bullet already. I love kiribati. I have no more time so ill send the pics i have.

My legs hurt so bad. they sit there all day. they sit there with their feet on the ground like nothing and it HURTS. haha but they say i withstand it pretty well. everytime i move they are like "imatang" which means white person haha. they laugh at me a ton which is fine. the kids love me because i give them tons of candy. Also idk if these pics are gonna work but we don't have time to see. the lady is kicking me off now so ill see y'all next week! I tangirinkami. tekeraoi ma ami bwai ni kabane.
