This week was super duper fun!!! The people are still way nice as ever. The old people are so respected here. The people are all sitting in a circle and an old man will walk in the room. They will all yell mauri te unimwane!!!!(mauri old man!!!!) I love it. They are always smiling and they are way funny! The people here are way nice. I can carry on conversations now with people. But I'm still learning every day! I'm still working in Bikenibeu.
I got a new companion!!! His name is elder sagapolu! He is from america but his family is from hawaii and samoa. He is way big. So when we are biking around people see a giant brown samoan and then this tiny 5'8" white guy and they start laughing. I love the work with him. He is so great. He is way boss at getting us dinners. So i don't have to worry about that.
This week i got to have lobster for dinner!! It was soooooo good. It was way fresh. it was caught the same day we ate it. they asked us how much it was in america and when i told them it was like 30-50 dollars they just laughed and called me a liar. But if you want to see the pictures you have to go look in my google drive because thats the way im sending stuff now. telll me if that works.

This week has been way fun. We got 2 new elders in our house. One's companion didn't show up so i took him to his first lesson and his first dinner!!!!! It was sooooo much fun. He was way fun. The people were way nice to him even though he didn't speak much. But that's just the people. They are getting so good at the lanugage though. I love the work here. The people are so much fun and the new elders are so fun as well. We have taken them to tons of cool places and they are way good at teaching the lessons. But this work here is so great with them. our area is doing so good we really needed 2 more elders. The other elders had like 35 investigators and they couldn't see them all enough. they weren't getting the attention that they needed so the 2 new elders will really help.

Other than that it is going great out here. I love you all and i will talk to you all next week!!

This week was so fun. But in the beginning we had to go to the hospital for my companion. His foot was sooo swollen so we went to the hospital. He had to get his foot cut open. We had to stay in the house for the rest of the day. They still haven't stiched it up. So he has been sitting in our house for like a week. Which is just killing him. He wants to get out of the house so bad. But I have been doing splits with elder Jubeck and the 2 new elders from the last intake. Which is soooo fun.
I took one elder to his first lesson and his first dinner. But we have been doing so many splits it is hurting my head! haha We have been working so hard.
This week we have been trying to teach as many lessons as possible. One investigator named Tearo is finished with his lessons but we have to wait for his marriage papers and his marriage before he can get baptized. Which can take a while. We have another investigator named Merania who wants to serve a mission so we have been lessoning with her every day to prepare her for baptism. Our investigator who we just baptized got accepted to Moroni!! So now she can learn there.
This week I got a rare dictionary from my investigator Merania. She gave me a dictionary from like the 1900's. She said it was a bwai n tangira(gift)!!! So that will help with the language a ton.
It is so wierd to be speaking a different language to people. It just works differently and makes you think differently. I have noticed that the work has been going very good not only when i study the language but when I study the gospel as well.
It is wierd. I have been taking out the 2 new guys and it's like I'm already training. HAHA We have taught a lot of lessons and picked up a few new investigators. Which makes me so happy!
This week we had an accident and a miracle all rolled up into one as well. These 2 kids were swimming in the taari(lagoon) and they fell in a hole in the taari and they were drowning. Then people saw them and pulled them out. One of them was not breathing. They performed cpr and he was alright. The other one was not doing very well. He was the grandson of the lady we rent our house from. When we were coming back for the night she called us over to give him a blessing.
Me and elder Jubeck gave him a blessing. He had a fever and was having a lot of trouble breathing. But the next day his fever was gone, he was running around, and he was totally fine. I can personally testify of the power of the Priesthood. The Priesthood can bless the lives of all the people around us. If we live worthily, we can help people with their problems and illnesses. I know that this church is true and that if we read the book of mormon, our faith will grow. Because if we have a testimony of that book, we know joseph smith was a prophet and saw God and Jesus Christ, and translated that book. Which means that the priesthood is on the earth today.
I tangiringkami ao I atongi bwai aikai n aran iesu kristo Amen.
