This
transfer I am moving to a new area. I am moving to an island in the
south of Kiribati. It is calllleeeedd.......... TABITEUEA MEANG!!!(land
of kings, north)
I will be working with Elder Lomaloma. Turns out that Elder hoggan is going out there as well so now there will be 4 elders out there. He is from my same intake and I cannot wait to go out there with him.
Just
a little heads up for you all. I will have internet but I'm on an
island in the middle of the ocean with a population of about 2-3
thousand. So have patience. If i dont email you just know that I'm
trying but I will always email my mother first. HAHA I cannot wait to go
out there and live that lifestyle. Eating raw fish and coconuts and
breadfruit. So fun.
This transfer was fun and I learned a lot from being with the new elders.
I've gotten to where the people will understand me. I get to go live
out there in the middle of nowhere and preach the gospel to the nicest
people on the earth. But this island is known for killing. Every single
person has a knife on their belt. But the lord is with me so we'll see
how that goes. I tangiringkami ni kabane ao I butingkami bwa kam na
tataro ibukiu! HAHA It is going to be way hard but It is going to be
some of the funnest times on my mission.
plz pray for me!
elder koroboki
This week was an amazing week. I love
it. My investigator who I taught who got married last week was baptized
on the past saturday. I'm so excited! He is so prepared for the work
the lord has for him. He is so nice. He says that I now have a family in
Kiribati! haha I love them so much!
I was able to do the
baptism. I was so happy to be the person to baptize Tearo! He was so
prepared and loves the gospel and his wife and his daughter. It went
beautifully well. His testimony was amazing and he is a great man.
