I
finally made it out to the place where i'm supposed to be. Only took 8
weeks! It was a fun flight but it was super stressful trying to get on.
We had to push through other people trying to cut us in line. and turns
out there were only 14 spots on the plane!! crazy. The flight was very
cool. We saw all the outer islands that were on the way to tabiteuea.
aranuka abemama maiana super cool islands. We got in on thursday. It is
so cool here.
The island is so beautiful. it is just breath-taking.
The water is so clear and there is no trash on the beach like there was
on the main island. The houses are so spread out and really cool.
Everyone here is super nice. Even the people who hate us!! Our island is
the longest one in the mission. Me and my companion also have the
biggest area in the mission. We have the north side and the south which
counts as 2 outer islands. Which is way cool. I can say I've been to
both. way cool.
So the north is a big island. like 3-4 hours
if you bike the whole thing. Then there are tons of little islands in
between it and the south side. We have the first 2 hours and then the
whole south side. Just me and my companion! its so crazy!!

Lomaloma! We have so much fun joking and laughing together. We both
bike pretty quick which is nice. We will be going out to the south side
via airplane this week. Ya that's right we fly from within our area.
haha He gave me such a good haircut when i got here. He is super sick.
It
is way pretty here. the water is so clear and beautiful. You can see
fish swimming around and the sunsets reflect off the water because it's
so smooth.
All of the little kids call me elder rice hahahaha. We do chores everymorning. We hit coconuts and open them then we carve out the inside with a sharp metal knife.
We
actually have a house out here. But there isn't a toilet :) you
know.... We are building a buia for me and my companion to live on so
that is really cool. A buia is a raised platform on for logs with a roof
made of pandanus leaves with no walls. So right now we are all 4 in the
same house but when that's finished we will have more space on the
buia.
But more to come next week! We are having so much fun and loving the biking.
We
got to ride a motorcycle to church on sunday. haha ya that's something
we get to do. because its so far we ride it every sunday because we have
2 wards we go to. none of my pictures are working so i'll see what's up
with that so i'll see if i can send some more next week. Love you
